The collection consists of a variety of anti-war and protest posters, political campaign posters for New York state politicians, examples of student activist and civil rights newspapers, and events posters from the Vietnam War era. They reflect the political ferment of the 1960s and early 1970s. The collection also includes a 2008 address by Benson about the collection.
